Today's update is a bit different, as it doesn’t introduce any new content. Some of the core ideas didn’t work out as expected, so we’ve decided to adjust them slightly and experiment with a different approach.
Changelog:
- Increased Game Speed – The overall speed of the game has been increased by 50%, while relative speeds remain unchanged. This required minor adjustments to hit detection, aiming, and other mechanics.
- Looting Mechanics – At least one unit must now be near a loot box for looting to progress. The camera no longer centers on the box when looting.
- Camera Behavior – The camera now follows only the controlled character, allowing other characters to move offscreen.
- Reload Mechanic – The assault rifle now has a limited magazine capacity and requires reloading after a set number of shots. This is an experimental feature and may be removed if it doesn’t perform well.
